This Unit is about testing and evaluation of students. I found this to be very interesting information overall. The Unit provides a nice and clear overview of available external tests and also states the differences between those. Not only have I learnt what kind of tests exist, but also when each test is approriate or what it is used for. From my experience as a former student and teacher I can tell and confirm, that evaluation is one of the most important things in the learning process, for the teacher as well as the student. That said, progress tests give a great overview of how much was really understood or remembered from previous lessons. Oral test are the best chance to find out, what the student is actually able to apply or use on a daily basis.
