In this unit i learned how to present new vocabulary, grammar structures and language functions to the students. These areas are very important for teaching a lesson in a balanced and affective way. the difficulty level of vocabulary depends on factors such as similarity to the students' native language, similarity to the words they already know, spelling, pronunciation and appropriacy. When teaching new grammar, it is important the consider the level of the class. Meaning, usage, grammatical form and the way it's said and written should all be parts of the lesson. Language function is also an important part of the language. It includes areas such as refusing, agreeing, inviting, etc. and are mostly used with the patchwork and boomerang type ESA lessons.
