This module dealt with the potential problems in a TEFL classroom. A lot of this, I felt, was common sense, and could be applied to any classroom, but just a TEFL one. In my own classroom, I am familiar with dealing with new groups of learners, as well as learners that are already familiar with one another. Then the focus becomes about me learning as much as I can about the learners, something that takes place over the first couple of weeks of the school year. My biggest class has 30 students in it - even learning their names took some time! I also have some experience with reluctant learners, and I often pair weak students with stronger ones. I am so glad that I took this course and I hope I will soon have a chance to use the skills I have learnt!
