This unit was helpful to think of all the ways in which to utilise the various tools available nowadays. I find youtube useful , because there are millions of clips from movies and speeches that can help the students by hearing different accents besides mine. It's a good learning experience, because they have to try to follow conversations with people of various background ds/accents. I always try to include native and non native English speakers in my clips. Depending on why the student has chosen to learn English, it is very useful to understand English spoken in various accents. I rarely use CALL to teach as I find it takes away from the one on one, but I will give them online sources to look at on their of time to practice while they are not in class.
