This unit taught me a lot about ways I can work with my students, letting the course be student-focused, and giving me practical ways to encourage student talk time and positive rapport between myself and my students. It is slightly more geared towards younger children in that the unit considers scenarios where there may be behavioral challenges. Though I will be working exclusively with adults, I realize that efficiency within the class will still be dependent on many factors that I control including: my attitude, my vocal patterns, the consistency with which I teach and explain activities, and my flexibility. Activities I would like to brainstorm more, are icebreaker and student-student interactive activities that reinforce vocabulary as well as grammar.
