There are many different methods, and techniques , to assist you as a teacher to engage your student in learning. There is no one way that is better, but all ways are great as long as the students are communicating in English, being praised, feeling encouraged and are motivated to learn. If you, as the teacher, keep learning exciting, with the use of pictures, games, and music , as well as assist them with their studies with worksheets, surveys, and other forms of acquiring language accuracy and formation, their fluency of the language will only get better. If one technique doesn't work with a group, move onto another, so that teacher talk time is kept minimal, and student talk talk is greater. The goal is to have your students engaged and communicating.
