The final unit was a perfect section to finish on. It brought up a list of potential problems and gave clear solutions to them. I can see how this problems could easily arise and I feel much more comfortable knowing how to solve them. Having students of different English levels is an important one and I like the idea of using different materials or even holding out and not doing anything! Another one was large class sizes, this is something I feel nervous about but the ideas of using group leaders and have group work and worksheets is great. I was also happy to see the use of native language covered as I can picture this being an issue. I am much more prepared for teaching in an English language learner classroom after completing the 20 units of this course.
