From this unit i have learnt as i did from a previous unit, the importance of establishing rapport betweent the students and teacher as well as between the students themselves. The teacher plays a large role in the learning process when they speak as much as when they are silent and allow students to learn on their own. Teacher talk time seems to have a large role on how effective and exciting teaching goes. All students are different but it is important to treat everyone equally, bearing in mind their unique personality traits and how they may benefit or disadvantage the rate at which they learn and understand the material. As the teacher is the focus of the class, it is important to maintain a sense of dignity, authority, control and respect when teaching.
