This unit is about phonetics. It teaches the phonetic symbols and how they are used in sounding out words in english. It also teaches the fundamentals of phonetics and key terms included in pronunciation and phonetics. it teaches the different intonations and shows how sentences come across when using each of them. It also provides information on how to teach intonation.In unit 16 we covered conditionals and reported speech. We looked at the five main conditionals and what it looked like when it was either reported or direct speech. This lesson showed how confusing it could be for a student if they rush through it. That being said, it was mentioned several times to take it slowly and work through them as opposed to rushing through them.
