The future tenses are more complex than the present and past tenses, it actually includes some of present simple and present continuous tenses that can be used as future tenses as well as the ?going to? tenses. When teaching the future tenses, the teacher will have to leave clear the usage of the tense and be more creative with the activities for the Activate phase of the lesson.Unit 4 covered the four present tenses; present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. While working through the Unit I realized that when I am speaking English I don?t even think about which tense to use, I just do it. Even though I have learned the different tenses in the past, I need to be sure about teaching their usage to be a good teacher.
