This unit went over the various tools used by teachers in the classroom. It covered everything from the blackboard all the way up until more advanced technology like the video camera and computers in the classroom. By knowing what materials you have available to you as a teacher you can vary your lessons in more fun and interesting ways to keep student interest and pinpointing what areas of study need more work.I really enjoyed reading about course book and lesson plan materials. I think there was great information about authentic materials and created materials. The websites that are shared are great because in some of them the teacher can create his/her own material. Another great point was about the board, it emphasizes that it has to be well organized to be presented to students. Overall it was an interesting unit.
