It's quite reasonable to deal with particular language lessons, but it limits the scale of teaching ideas, too prescriptive and predictable. Whats is really important is whether it will work.
The following macroscopic techniques were discussed in detail:
1. Case studies;
2. Frameworking;
3. Problem - Based Learning;
4. Games;
5. CALL = Computer- Aided Language Learning;
6. Speech Act Theory (language acquisition theory), explaining an utterance, a propositional utterance, am illocution utterance, and a perlocutionary utterance.
3 lesson plans were given as exmaples, which I appreciated.
It's important to pre-teach and bacj-check for understanding the vocabulary!
