As a new teacher all of the theories, methods, and techniques were new and helpful for me. I found each theory to have pros and cons. I also found the activities to engage, study and activate students very helpful and adaptable to most ranges of age and skill level to be insightful. For myself, i look forward to implementing each and evaluating what works best in my environment with my unique students.Unit 5 with all of its new material and concepts made the lesson very interesting and also very difficult to me. I liked how the authentic material was integrated and used within a lesson, regardless on which model was chosen. It was also interesting to see how it is possible to use at a fairly low level the methods learned as I felt initially that they would be more suitable for higher level students.
