Unit 19 prepares future TEFL teachers to be prepared to teach different types of groups of students. It teaches the most important things to bear in mind when working with beginners, individuals, young learners, Business English classes, and Mono- or Multilingual groups. What I found really useful is the DO's and DON'T's list that list the most important advantages and disadvantages and give useful tips for any occasions.In this unit I have learnt how important receptive skills are. Reading and listening help with students confidence. I have learnt that they are equally important as speaking and writing, but they require, beside understanding the words, knowledge about world around you. I have learnt that if you engage students correctly they will produce more even if they don't know the meaning of whole text which they read or listen to.
