Generally, this was a fairly simple unit. Perhaps the most helpful aspects of the unit are the suggestions for classroom activities to deal with various challenges the teacher may face. I found the suggestions for teaching mixed level classes particularly helpful. In addition, having the freedom to establish rapport and a positive classroom dynamic during the first lesson, rather than having to jump right into a lesson is very helpful.The content of the unit was about grammar rules, uses, exceptions and examples of the most relevant and important aspects of English grammar. Although I learned all of this when I was young, I found it to be an amazing learning experience as I had forgotten many of the rules and terminology here. I feel better equipped to explain some of the confusing grammar rules in english so that i can creatively come up with lessons to help students.
