It is very important for the teacher to plan his lesson. This helps organize the lesson and keep a record of the material that is beeing taught, it also helps other teachers to continue the lesson in case the teacher was absent.
Having the plan in front of the teacher helps him to easily follow the plan and refer to it during the class. It is important to state that the lesson not rigid and the teacher needs to be flexible in his plan .In this unit i learnt how to manage a class, in terms of how to communicate with the students, how to group them, how to write on the board, and how to manage the teacher talking time and the students talking time. As i have never been in front of a classroom as a English teacher (i have as a counselor, i think is not the same), i think this unit was very useful, as it gave me very important tips on how to do a good job with my students.
