This unit covers a broad spectrum of Teaching Approaches, Methodologies and Techniques, throughout various times in history. I have learned that one of the theories ESA,(Engage, Study, Activate)model of teaching, from Jeremy Hammer, is still being implemented in current day lessons to students learning the English language and grammar. I have also learned how I, as a teacher, could implement this model into my own classes.It was really interesting to watch the body language of the student in the first lesson and the contrast in the second. The teacher's behavior is crucial in the success of the class. It also shows the effectiveness of a well planned lesson as well as enjoying delivering it. The result in making lesson 2 a successful one is essentially due to the teacher as in both cases you could see that the students were not the problem.
