Being a good teacher does not only require u to have a good knowledge of the subject matter but also understand how to manage a classroom. This unit 'CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT' has undoubtedly given me the necessary tools to keep a classroom in order. The importance of eye to eye contact, gestures, voice and classroom arrangement to maintaining discipline in a classroom will go a long way in enhancing a good study environment .this unit is about using course books, the pros and cons. It talks about the use of authentic materials such as newspaper articles, books, magazines and created materials such as flash cards and crossword puzzles ect. I have learned that it is useful to use a course book as a guide but to make changes for it to suit the students needs such as adding material or skipping certain topics that are not useful to the students.
