I found this unit difficult. It was hard to understand the phonetic script although, interesting. I found the mouth diagrams interesting and that they can teach you excursuses to pronounce words.I think it is important to teacher students how to pronounce words correctly and would like to exercise this technique daily with my student who are learning the English Language.This unit was very interesting to me because I feel that this is a problem in a lot of language classes. A lot of people believe that knowing a language is to be able to speak it, but there is so much more to it than that. This part gave a great example as to why reading and listening are so important, as there are just as much a part of a language as speaking or writing.
