This unit was more grammar review and I was familiar with most of the content although I did not know the formal names of some of these parts of speech and phrases. This unit does contain useful teaching ideas for teaching these concepts to students by choosing specific topics such as driving, road signs, etc. and teaching the correct usage of relevant phrases and grammatical forms.Unit 6 started with an introduction that briefly went over the present tenses, which was an excellent way to warm up and remind the reader, before going into the topic of past tense. The unit covers past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. All four tenses covered in this unit were clearly explained, with examples provided for when they should be used.
