This unit was an important one. We need to understand this chapter so it can help us when putting together our lesson plan. Also, it made us reflect about the different types of lesson plans we can provide and what activaties fit into which category (ie:Engage, Study, Activate). This was a visual unit and looking at the examples to help us rather then just reading and notes, really put things in perspective.In unit 4 I have discovered there are many different forms of present tenses in the English language, which is not very common in some languages. This results in frequent and common errors while learning English present tenses. The tenses can be confusing to even teachers, so it is important to take into consideration the confusion students might experience and identify strategies to use with misconceptions.
