This unit has covered advice which Infound was not covered in previous units due to being more general and not quite specific enough to mention in other units. This unit discussed what to do on first lessons with different groups of students, final advice on what to do and how to get the students engaged. I found the tips very useful and have kept notes and shall be using them in my first class.From this unit, I have learnt the two basic skills in language, receptive skills and productive skills. In this part of unit, the passage focus on the reading and listening where ar belong to the receptive skills. In specific, I have known how to ask student to read a article and find out which parts the most important are. finally this unit gives us a example of typical receptive skills lesson.
