This lesson provides a good overview of the use of course books and lesson materials in the classroom. I have been using Headway books with my students. Although I find them well designed, I often have to replace or supplement some of the materials based on my students? age and interests. As pointed out in this unit, this makes their learning experience more meaningful.This unit is about conditionals and reported speech. There are four types of conditional. This lesson explains form and usage and typical mistakes, as well some of the errors that students come across and some teaching ideas. Reported speech and direct speech are also a part of this unit. There is lots of examples and teaching ideas for reported speech that I find useful.
