Even for a native English speaker, there are a lot of nuances when it comes to the different future tenses. While reading through this unit, I realized I have been using the future simple and going to tenses interchangeably, even though they do not have the exact same meaning. Of course as a teacher, it is very important to know the slight difference between these to better help the students understand.Unit 9 discusses lesson planning and the different views regarding it. I learned about the functions of lesson planning, and the need for structure, organization, and also flexibility within the classroom. This unit reviewed again the Engage-Study-Activate methodology -- and how it can be utilized in a real-time lesson. Unit 9 provides a sample lesson to give an idea of how to organize any given lesson.
