From this unit I have learned the grammar about English--parts of speech.I realized the main types of the words and the usage of them.The simplest form of structure is the basic sentence.A sentence must consist of at least a subject and verb but will usually feature more words than this.I also learned that there are no definite rules about the grammar,which some words are using depends on the sentence.As an earlier question suggests, the outcome of the lesson is very much dependent on the attitude of the teacher. It is very important to be able to engage students and have general student input so that the class as a whole has ownership of the outcome. Having the students reach consus on the correct answer to various questions is far more satisfactory than having a teacher \"tell\" them what is right.
