This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit gave an overview of the present tenses. The unit began by mentioning that verb tenses can be difficult for learners and teachers. This is something I agree with and something that I do struggle with. For me, when I look at the structure of the tenses, they make sense, and are logical. However, when I have to think about what tense is used for which situation (especially when a learner asks a very directed question) I sometimes have problems. The unit was helpful in that it provided a number of \"rules\" outlining when the tenses should be used. Many websites with verb tense information often only give a couple of the rules. The unit also gave two activate stage activity examples which has got me thinking more about other activities I could also use.
