Unit 15 discusses evaluation and testing. It reviews the different types of testing that are necessary to measure student progress and comprehension (placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests, and practice tests). Unit 15 also introduces a few external examinations (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC) as well as the variety of tests that fall under the Cambridge Assessment umbrella.This unit was a continuation of the last, but in unit 12 we now looked at speaking and writing skills. We learned about different activities used in both speaking and writing, and ways to help encourage and strengthen writing and speaking skills. We also looked at some factors as to why students may be hesitant in learning and ways to encourage students to engage and improve.
