In this unit I have learnt the various aspects of phonology. I have learnt what rising and falling intonation mean and when they are used. Which parts of words are stressed and why, plus techniques to teach these two areas. I have learnt the phonemic alphabet and the various organs involved in the manner of articulation and teaching techniques for pronunciation and when to teach them.From this unit I have learned how to plan a lesson so that It will move smoothly from stage to stage . This is important for teachers so they can help students become interested in the language or grammar . Finally the students will be able to learn more by using language or grammar in a useful way .This will also help the teacher to start and run then finish the lesson successfully.
