This unit covered the class setting, teaching techniques to lessen teacher talk time and discipline problems. I learned different seating arrangements of a class and the pros and cons of the seating. I also learned how to lessen the teacher talk time to give the students the ability for more student talk time. I also learned how to avoid class discipline problems and the possible reasons for behavior problems.When teaching writing or speaking it is important to include the other areas of the language. While can be helpful to focus on one area to have it be a well rounded lesson at least one of the other sections should be included. In addition it is a good idea to include both accuracy and fluency sections on the same concepts. This allows students to learn the correct way to use the terms as well as be creative.1
