It illustrates that the ESA methos is the best method for new teachers because it incorporates the most effective technquies of a range of methods. ESA means Engage, Study, Activate. First the teacher engages the class, allowing them to warm up and practice their English language skills. The study phase concentrates on correct language use and learning. The activate allows students to pratcice the skills they have learnt in a controlled way. There are different ways to order an ESA lesson. Correction is a skill that involves experience and time. I believe these are effective approaches as they present a balance between teacher and student engagement centred on student learning.
