In this Unit I got to know which different kinds of examinations there are and how to apply them correctly. As well I learned the different aims of the external English language tests. To see an example of a placement test was particularly interesting to me. Moreover I learned that the best examinations are those who test the students in more disciplines (reading, listening, speaking, writing) than just one.Unit 17 focused on teaching aids in the classroom, particularly items such as CDs and DVDs, video cameras, cassettes, worksheets, computers, overhead projectors, whiteboards and Smartboards, resource books, and dictionaries. This lesson provided online resources in an organized and concise manner as well which is valuable in maximizing classroom learning time and in providing useful visual aids for students.
