Every student is able to speak their own language before starting to learn english, so in all cases we can make a comparative baseline which ties the two languages together. This can be done by comparing the two languages. This can help students feel more comfortable with english. Students need to understand when and how to use grammar structures, but they shouldnt be overloaded with information, because that will create confustion.This unit highlighted how useful created course materials would be to a novice teacher in that they would provide examples of the appropriate content for each level. Examples of study exercises and activities in created course material could also help a novice teacher develop a sense of what authentic material would match which level, as well as what could motivate, interest and better meet the needs of specific student populations.
