Unit fourteen talks of books and materials used by the teacher in the classroom.Materials are divided into two;Authentic materials and created materials.Authentic materials are materials like programs, magazines,newspapers,songs and poems.we have to know that they aren't designed for EFL students.There are reasons why we use Authentic materials;they are real, students gain confidence during talking what they see and think, they can be geared to the interest of a particular group of students.Created materials are designed by the teacher to replace or supplement materials from the course book.Examples are crosswords, role play, gap full action, flash cards,and word search.Course books consist of a set of materials such as students book,work book, teachers book.
