In this unit, it mentioned that writing is the most neglected skill in the TEFL world and I can understand why that is. It is also important to get the students to communicate with one another and have every student engaged which can present a bit of a challenge. Both and fluency hold the same importance where accuracy takes place during the study phase and fluency is during the activate phase. There are many reasons why a student wont speak so it was great to see a list of techniques to encourage interaction and also use creative speaking during a lesson. I was pleased to see there was a list of games given at the end of the lesson along with the website, because as a child, I remember that the games were what really got everyone involved and excited to learn.
