This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Even as a native speaker, I had quite some challenges and hiccups with this unit test. Each past tense (past simple, past continuous, past perfect, past perfect continuous). To be specific, past perfect continuous seemed to be a bit challenging. I had to keep in mind that ti was an action that has been going on until THAT past moment that the conversation was about. Such as, \"Before eating dinner, he had been doing his homework for four hours.\" This doesn't necessarily mean up until when the conversation took place, but rather, up UNTIL dinner. That was a bit confusing to me. Same goes with past perfect. Good to keep in mind that a past action (i.e., finished my homework) had to finish before another action in the PAST begins (I realized I had more homework).
