This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In unit 18 I learnt about modal auxiliary verbs and the passive as well as brief overviews of phrasal verbs and its relative clauses. Modal auxiliary verbs have basic rules. The modals are can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn’t and aught to. These modal verbs are used before verbs to add meaning to the main verbs. Modals are also use to express a number of different ideas such as; obligation, possibility/probability, permission/prohibition, ability, advice etc
I have learnt the uses of the auxiliary modal verbs correctly from this unit thus, find it very useful. I learnt a lot about teaching ideas like role play, roles, signs etc. Furthermore, I have also learnt about the passive voice from this unit.
