This unit covered the different special groups a teacher may encounter such as absolute beginners or people who are required to learn a very specific subset of English... the unit explained how to plan a lesson for these groups and how to adapt to their unique needs. Although it may seem daunting at first i think that as long as the teacher is well prepared everything should go smoothly.Unit nine focuses on planning lessons. It highlights on the importance of planning and keeping a record of what have been taught, what materials have been used and so on since it is hard to remember on what have been covered after a long period of time. Furthermore, it helps on maintaining and setting targets and keep notes of important things a teacher want to mention during the lesson.
