Unit 11 taught about the receptive skills of reading and listening. I learned from this unit the purposes of reading and listening is either for entertainment or for a purpose as in reading or listening to the instructions of an operating manual. I also learned of problems that the student may have in learning problems and some helpful ways to approach a class lesson to lessen any possible problems or to solve the problem.Lesson planning in English as a Foreign Language classes is quite similar to lesson planning for my regular primary classes. Teachers should have clearly marked learning objectives, times, activities, phases, interactions, and anticipated problems and possible solutions for both the learners and their teacher. It's nice, too, to include personal aims, i.e. goals the teacher sets for him/herself and his/her teaching skills.
