This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered conditionals (if-clause and consequence) and reported (indirect) speech (retelling something, someone said (= direct speech)). As always I liked the teaching ideas and the task sheet the most but also was not fully aware of the different types of conditionals before. The table what tense transforms into what other tense in reported speech was also very helpful.I never knew about all of these conditions when you use the word ?if?. Perhaps the most tricky lesson since uses everything the students have learned before and adds onto it. Like the what the text says, I also see that mixed conditional would be the most difficult for the students. Being fluent in English, I really didn't ever look at what changes when you repeat something.
