There are a few questions that I am not so sure if I have answered correctly, but I have gone with my gut. I think that all of these areas are important parts of what a teacher should do in a classroom and I have seen some instructions here that have allowed me to reflect on my own methods. I am guilty of raising my voice in class to a few naughty students but only when i felt it called for it. In all cases the student was violent towards another student; something which I will not allow in my classroom. with the input from this unit, I feel that although I shouldn't change my 0 tolerance towards violence, perhaps I can deal with it in a slightly more private way. Maybe keeping students back after class is better and more subtle way of dealing with such problems.
