In this lesson I learned how to design a lesson for students using the ESA model. This model teaches students by first engaging their brains and then going into any combination of study and activation activities. These activities are where students learn new language and incorporate it with previous knowledge, respectively. I also learned many new activities to do with kids to help them learn.This unit, together with the lesson planning video, tied in with the units regarding teaching methodologies and class room management, and provided practical examples for, among other, lesson structures and board work. I also got a better sense of which activities and exercises to use at which phase and was able to use recommended sources to find detailed drills and exercise for tasks 5 and 6.
