This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was good to think about the different possibilities in teaching different levels of learners and even individual learners vs groups. I think it's important to think about each of these areas, since they will be things we will be facing when teaching English. I appreciate the discussion of teaching young learners, as well, as that's particularly an area that I believe I'll be working. There are many modern and non modern classroom aids that can help in providing information to the student and they all have their pros and cons. In my opinion the classic white board for writing is still preferable as in my past learning experiences the OHP method becomes very boring very quickly. I can see instances where a video camera would be very helpful and entertaining for the students.
