Giving students tests is helpful because it could place them in the correct class that they need to be based on their placement test score. The diagnostic test checks what the student already knows prior to commencing an EFL course. The practice test is taken before a bigger test, and a progress test is a test that checks what the students have retained so far throughout the test-based period.This unit was a very practical look at lesson planning for new teachers. The idea of planning a lesson is one of the more intimidating ideas for me, but I found the templates and example plans very helpful. This lesson also taught the ten different items that need to be considered for any lesson plan, which help make sure the lesson plan is not only easy to follow, but flexible and recyclable.
