The teacher should try to get the meaning to the class without using translation. This is not preferable on the ground that translation may or may not provide the meaning of the word accurately and precisely. It is advocated as it enables the class to go without grasping the meaning of a word that they have learned to pronounce rather than to depend upon the translation.This unit was very insightful for me. I cannot remember much about learning past tense, future, or present tenses in high school or college so it is nice to be caught up on it all once again. Furthermore, it is helpful to know these in order to teach students and explain to them correct sentence structure in order to speak and write English without sounding like a child.
