In this Unit, I learned about the 4 basic skills which are receptive skills; reading and listening and productive skills; speaking and writing. I learned that we read and listen for two main reasons which are for a prupose and entertainment. I learned the deifferent types or specialist skills for reading and listneing. Aslo, I have a understanding on how to carry out a reading or listening topic which will have the student's interest.Very informative. It shows the advantages and disadvantages of a course book and created materials. I, personally, think a mix of both methods can be more efficient in terms of learning. The proposed materials within the unit could possibly be very useful. A lot of factor should enter in consideration when asking for a course book and creating materials. Especially, the students' level, the overall activity and the price for the book.
