This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit discusses the present tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. As a native speaker, I find them hard to distinguish from each other and apply said labels to them, but I can see how knowing each of them and how they work is important for communication. I have had trouble explaining issues with these tenses in the past, so I think it is a good idea to review them regularly. This unit was quite a simple unit to understand. Getting used to the planning structure is a challenging one though as I have learned a different form of a lesson plan in University. Once you get the just of it and know what goes where it becomes less confusing and a lot easier. It is very important to know what type of content should be included in a lesson as this will help you make sure you have everything needed for your lesson.
