This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered teaching special groups. This ranged from teaching beginners, which were broken down into groups within the frame of 'a beginner'. Such as, absolute beginner, false beginner, adult/young beginner and beginner without the roman alphabet. Then the unit moved to individuals, teaching one to one, then teaching children to business English. Lastly the unit covered teaching monolingual vs multilingual classes, with there advantages and disadvantages. I found this useful because this unit went through all the groups that you could possibly teach, i mainly teach young learners as of now but i am also interested in teaching business english so having both explained in this unit was beneficial to me, i could clearly see what was needed to teach each group.
