This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit goes over the ways we use our receptive skills for learning. The different ways we use receptive skills in learning can impact the way one might learn a new language, as well as affect the way a teacher presents material to their students. With regards to learning a language, a teacher must develop content that can work well with our receptive skills, ideally creating a variety of delivery options for students to use their ability to read and listen to content. Additionally, some students are much better at understanding concepts through reading whereas others are more audio-based. Providing different approaches to learning the material will allow all students to be exposed to multiple methods of increasing their vocabulary while learning a new language.
