Through lesson planning, one can find that too much of it can allow for the lesson to become too teacher-centered, but for many inexperienced teachers, without a plan, there may be a lack of direction in the classroom. In order to combat this, many find that notes can lead the teacher in the right direction toward an achievable target, while also building one’s own flexibility and understanding. Depending on the individual, students, and the class activity, one is able to create and change one’s lesson plan and the specific objectives for both the teacher and students. In addition, in order to improve one’s own lesson, one should monitor his or her own lesson to see the progression and improvement of both the student’s and teacher’s skills.
