This was by far the shortest unit thus far. It covered the past simple. past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. There really wasn't much to it, just explanations and a few examples. The video, however, still managed to be rather long. The worksheets for this unit were more focused on teaching than they usually are which was fine since I can see students having problems, conceptually, with some of the materiel.Unit 9 teaches how lesson planning has a number of important functions. For example it shows 3 important steps 1. an aid to planning 2. a working document 3. a record . Other helpful points are how lesson planning should be written down, organised, and what else should be included. The teachers' objective in lesson planning is to focus what the student should know and under stand by the end of the lesson and how they can achieve it.
